Solid 18ct Gold Gents
The Dial
The original Omega signed dial is in excellent condition with perfectly straight steel hands and beautiful applied Arabic numbers (12, 3, 6 and 9)/hour batons and minute markers. It is beautifully designed in an ivory white honeycomb and the cross hair sub-second and minute markers are as crisp as the day it was made. It looks stunning against the highly polished 18ct gold case. It is signed ‘Omega Automatic’ and ‘Swiss Made’. The lens is new.
The Case
The crisp, highly polished solid 18ct gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor wear. The case measures 35mm wide, excluding the Omega signed winding crown and 40mm, including the lugs. The inside case back is signed ‘Omega Watch Company’, ‘Fab Suisse’ and ‘Swiss Made’. It carries the case number of ’10950312 and 2644 2398′ and the appropriate hallmarks for 18ct gold.
The Strap
As mentioned, I’ve added a new high quality dark brown crocodile skin strap and gold plated buckle
The Movement
I love Omega automatic ‘bumper’ movements, particularly from this era. They are built incredibly well and could easily last another hundred years. This is signed ‘Omega Watch Company’, ‘Seventeen 17 Jewels’ and ‘Caliber 332′. It carries the movement number of 12153742 dating it to 1951. It has just been serviced by my watch maker and is running beautifully.
